The Software Quality Engineer is responsible to define and measure product quality as well as to define and establish appropriate quality management processes and tools across the R&D organization. He works closely with development and QA teams to establish and execute appropriate practices to actually meet the defined quality goals. He works closely with the management team to report on relevant quality metrics and make recommendations whether a product is ready to be released to customers. He constantly looks for opportunities to increase product quality and team efficiency and drives improvement programs across the entire development project

• Understand the software development process and life cycle, establish metrics and drive improvements in order to increase product quality and team efficiency across the entire R&D organization
• Define SW quality metrics and release goals
• Measure and report the actual quality metrics at different phases of the life cycle
• Work closely with the different development and QA teams to define, select and implement tools, practices and processes to support the quality goals
